Diploma in Bakery:
The one year diploma course in Bakery & Confectionery at NFCI is primarily a skill based educational course that is designed to acquaint its aspirants with key aptitudes and systems in artisan bread making, cake making, chocolate & candy formulations and many more bakery products.
Curriculum:
The curriculum of this course has been designed as per the fluctuating requirements of the bakery industry and the utilization of scientific techniques in modern baking. The course covers a series of specialized lectures both practically & theoretically, laboratory activities and industrial visits and trainings. All these various activities and sessions enrich the aspirants with a comprehensive knowledge of a variety of yeasted dough, international dough varieties and production related techniques.

Students can understand & work on all the aspects of Bakery & confectionery, move towards enterpership, development of people handling skills, decision making skills and analytical skills. Level of creativity is increased, knowledge of budgeting & cost management.
