On 21st December 2018, NFCI Hotel Management & Cooking Institute organized its annual inter campus culinary competition- The Final Plate Winter Fiesta 2018.
The journey for the finale started with the preliminary round at campus level with the theme of oranges and red roses as the major ingredients. An executive chef from a reputed hotel was called as Judge and he graded the dishes based on:
Presentation, Plating-Portion Size, Taste, Viva and Uniform & Grooming.
Top 5 students from each campus are represented their campus as a team. NFCI Jalandhar, Amritsar and Ludhiana were having 2 teams.
Total number of 55 students participated in the finale forming 11 teams. All the teams were given the theme of “carrots and ginger” for the finale.
